Day 5 – April 20, 2007

Shucks. Who the hell can this be? Only my family and the girls know this number. And of course, the Shinhwa members.
I glanced at the girls. They’re still sleeping. So this is either my mother or one of the members. I glanced at the phone clock. It’s 6:05 am. Ang aga pa… grabe.
I opened the message.
Meg, can you come out now? I have something to tell you.

WTH. Can this wait until later? Aigoo.
But I find myself quickly brushing my teeth and getting a pair of shorts and a shirt.
In 10 minutes, I was out and found Eric sitting on the porch outside the cottage, looking at the sunrise.
“Hey there…” I said, sitting beside him.
“Good morning, Meg,” Eric said, kissing my cheek.
“Good morning dear. So what’s up?”
“We are doing the MV of How do I say today,” Eric said.
“Oh really? So that means you guys are working today…” I said, already thinking of what to do while they’re working.
“You guys are working too because you will be in the video,” Eric said, playfully pulling my ponytail (which is slowly becoming his habit now).
“WHAT?! What do you mean we’ll be in the video?!” My brain is seriously hyperactive right now.
“This is a surprise for you guys. Souvenir for this whole vacation,” Eric said, smiling wide.
WAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH….. This would be fun……
I got up and kissed Eric on the cheek and hugged him really really tight.
“Thank you thank you thank you!!!” I told Eric and got up and ran to our room to tell the girls the good news.

I woke the girls up and here are their reactions:
KATE: Huh?
GAB: Talaga? Ayos.
RHANIE: Oh my god……..
NERIE: WHAT?!???!?!?!
ANGEL: WAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fun right? HAHA.

It was a great morning. Everyone was happy and all so excited for the shoot. Make-up artists were present, huge spot lights/shade can be found set up in all the places where we’d shoot the music video. Suddenly, the all of the crew were all so busy setting everything up.
The sun is shining brightly. I smiled.
This will be a very very good day.
I was sitting in one of the lounge chairs drinking coffee. Yes, I need coffee still. With what happened last night, I could have rested more. But no, Eric had to wake me up early. O__o
Now, I am waiting for a make-up artist to attend to me. I am pretty dressed up already. You have no idea what we had to go through this morning when it came to our wardrobe.
Early this morning… around 6:45 am
Rhanie: What are we going to wear?????
Meg: Hala, ako kahit ano lang kasi hindi naman ako handa… HAHAHAHAHHAHA…
Gab: Ukay stuff! Pwede na siguro yun… hindi na yun halata…
Kate: hmm.. whatever’s in my bag na lang siguro… basta andyan si Minwoo pwede na…
Nerie: WAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH….. I don’t have enough stuff, I’ll just get stuff from Chunsa’s bag….
Angel: From my bag? Parang may laman yun?!?!?! WAAAAAAHHHHHHHAHAHAHHAHA……… *goes crazy*
Then someone knocks on the door.
All the girls suddenly shouts, “WHAT?!”
Then, Minwoo comes in…
“I brought this in for you guys to choose from. I hope we got your sizes correct though…”
and brings in a rack full of clothes. Summer wardrobe. Tank tops, flowery flowing skirts, short shorts, cute slippers… accessories even. HAHA.
All the girls went crazy. You kinda imagined what happened next, right? LOL.
Anyway, we have different styles so we didn’t have to fight for any of the clothes. I chose a yellow-orange halter top and a pair of white shorts to go with it. There was a pair of cute white sandals that was my size. Some of the girls had to talk and haggle with each other when it came to the shoes because 4 of them have the same size of feet. HAHA. It was settled peacefully, don’t worry. ^^) In the accessories box, I got a pair of earrings that was similar to what I lost late last year. It’s dangling dressed with small beads and all. Quite simple.
Aha. Now, a make-up artist is free. Yahoo~~~ I can get myself pretty. Hehe.

Everyone had their moment.
Nerie enjoyed walking along the seashore while Dongwan slowly followed her, singing. Then Nerie waved and ran, Dongwan tried to catch her but he was so unsuccessful that the director had to shout “CUT!”. HAHA. That was hilarious. Dongwan was panting and catching his breath while Nerie just laughed at him. I so loved the scene where Nerie was lying on Dongwan’s lap, sleeping. That’s just so damn lovely. It feels like home.
Andy rapped while sitting on the glass boat and Angel was busy splashing water towards him. You guessed it right, the boat tipped. HAHA. The water’s just knee high so nobody drowned, thank god. Hehe. The next scene, they went on bicycle racing and Angel won. HAHA. Poor Andy. But to Angel’s excitement, she fell off the bike. Though she only got light scars, Andy was so worried that he hugged her when he realized she was okay. Awww…. So sweet.
Rhanie and Hyesung was the loveliest pair. Because they are both pretty. HAHA. Especially when they rode the water bike thingie. With the shades and all, GORGEOUS. Hyesung sang as they walked along the shore, hand in hand. Their stares, sweetness to the maximum level.
Gab and Junjin was the most playful pair. When Junjin was rapping, Gab walked straight pass the camera, looking all innocent and scratched her head. So cute. Then Junjin grabbed him afterwards and turned her around. That was just sweet. (I think I’ve used sweet 165231652 times already. So sorry, there’s just no better term for what had transpired. HAHA.) Then they had a shot parasailing! They did the wiggy!!! So adorable. ^^)
Kate and Minwoo. This couple looks so alike it’s scary. Chinky eyes, amazing body. HOT. And then all of a sudden they do the samsoonie pose. HAHA. Well, only Minwoo can be HOT and CUTE at the same time and I guess Kate kinda got it. Hehe. Minwoo’s stares can melt Antarctica so I wasn’t surprised I saw Kate smile. Just smile. Because that’s all you can do when you see Minwoo’s smile.
Okay. Our part. Hehe. Well, after all that I’ve told him the past few days, it wasn’t that hard to shoot our part. I was a bit camera shy because this is the first time that not just only one but TWO cameras are all over us. I was just relaxing in the hammock watching Eric rap in front of the camera. Then he brings me into his arms and carries me to the shoreline. I almost shouted at his ear because I really thought he would throw me in the water. “I won’t throw you away. EVER.” I heard him whisper to my ear. Man, my eyes welled up and I just hugged him.
The girls had solo shots just like what the boys had. Random shots on the cottage, beach, playing around and stuff, fillers for the video I guess. Man, if shooting a video would be this fun, I want to be a movie star! HAHA. You get paid and you enjoy what you do.

I now look at the watch. It’s 9 p.m. It’s late and I’m tired. I am leaning on a coconut tree, listening to the waves as they hit the shore.
Last day na bukas. Shiet…
I turned around to go back to the cottage when I saw Eric standing in front of me.
I almost jumped.
“You scared me. Were you standing there for a long time?” I asked.
“Long enough to see your drama. HAHA,” Eric said, stifling a laugh.
“HAHA. Very funny,” I said, making my way to the cottage and leaving him behind.
His laughter echoed with the sound of the waves as I felt his hand on mine.
“Just trust me, Meg. I’ll never let go,” he said.
Our hands stayed that way until we reached my cottage.
“Thank you, Eric.”
He pulled me into a hug and whispered,
“I love you, Meg.”
Inhaling his scent, I replied,
“Same here. More than you’ll ever know.”
