I have a really good memory. If you don't believe me, read my Korea trip entry in my other blog. So my 7 days vacation with Shinhwa was not that hard to write really.
Hello?! It's with the 6 guys I have learned to love for about 4 years now.
So don't be surpised if even the tiniest detail I remember. Hehe.

So here's the thing. One day, I got an email from GoodEMG. Hmm... I thought it was about the concert tickets we bought since I was the one tasked to do it.
SUBJECT: VACATION WITH SHINHWA
I was like, WHAT THE HELL IS THIS? Contest again to rip us all foreigners off with our money? Sorry, this thought came about because of the Special Option thing last year. Grrr. Anyway, I opened the mail. I haven’t even finished the second sentence and I was already laughing my head off. LOL ~~~
FIRST TWO SENTENCES: Good day Meg. I informing you…
PUCHA. Wrong grammar. Koreans talaga…
CONTINUATION: that you will spend whole week in Boracay with Shinhwa.
SHET. Pangit talaga ng grammar.
Ano raw?!
I read the email from start to finish.
MESSAGE:
Good day Meg. I informing you that you will spend whole week in Boracay with Shinhwa. Please wait for call more info.
FROM: GOODEMG
Joke time ka ba? I was laughing my head off at this time. Well, it’s a Sunday so my whole family was at home. They asked me what’s funny. I told them, “Wala naman. May nanggagago sa akin sa email. Makakasama ko raw Shinhwa for a week sa Boracay.” My sister asked me where the email came from. “ Email add? Hmm… ewan ko, basta hindi katulad nung email na nagsesend sa akin about tickets.” “Gago yan ah, niloloko ka,” my sister told me.
The next Sunday, the phone rang. It was a phone call from Korea. (With their broken English, I should know.) Shet. It was not a joke. I am going to Boracay next week.
I need to call my boss and ask for a leave.
OH MY GOD.

Day 1 - April 16, 2007
Ninoy Aquino International Airport
So we are now waiting for them. Six gorgeous guys will be coming out soon. And Angel is still busy writing in her laptop. LOL. Well, that’s all right. To kill the anxiety I guess.
Well, all of us are doing our own thing to cope with the situation. Well, Angel is typing. Nerie is silent. Creepy. I tried to talk to her. I asked her if she’s okay, she said she’s okay. So I just left her alone. Rhanie is walking back and forth in the waiting area; it makes me dizzy. Kate has her eyes closed beside Nerie. Not sure if she’s sleeping or trying to sleep because no one was able to sleep last night. Gab is, well, sitting beside me listening to my mp3 player because we shouldn’t look like we haven’t slept for 24 hours when Shinhwa arrives. So we have to wake ourselves up with Shinhwa songs.
Me? Hmm… as much as I want to eat because I am really hungry, I can’t make myself eat. Or else, I’d have to throw it up. So I’ll just give you an update on what’s everyone’s wearing. Nerie’s wearing something Dongwan style, shirt and polo with jeans. Angel’s wearing a striped long-sleeve shirt and white pants. Those two doesn’t feel the summer heat. LOL. ~~ Kate’s in a purple ensemble – cute purple shirt with jeans and matching purple bag. Rhanie, of course, is in her best fashion sense ever. She is wearing a nice pink blouse and white skirt with matching glittery slippers. Very elegant looking. (Rhanie, did you know that we are going to Boracay? Joke. :) ) Gab and I are very low maintenance. She’s wearing a cute I love NY shirt and a short skirt. And I am wearing a red tank top with Capri pants. Because it is so HOT. Even at almost midnight, it is damn HOT.
Suddenly, I am distracted by Nerie and Rhanie. Nerie suddenly moves from her position after not moving for almost an hour. She stands up. And Rhanie stops from her tracks. I knew it. I am trying to keep my mp3 player with my shaky hands as Gab told me, “Meg, ok lang yan. Relax.” Angel wakes Kate up.
Oh my god. Shinhwa is walking in our direction. Pakshet.
Minwoo was the first one to approach us. “Kate,right?” He told Kate. Kate either cried or blushed, I am not sure. I just saw her covering her face as Minwoo hugged her.
Hyesung waves and walks towards Rhanie. He gives her a shy hug. But Rhanie is not really that shy as she hugs him back tightly.
Dongwan, with a bright smile on his face, shakes Nerie’s hand. Her face lights up and they start a chat. *with her hand still holding his.*
Junjin sees Gab and smiles like a child. (I love that smile. :) ) Gab is frozen in place for 5 seconds but upon seeing that smile, she welcomed Junjin with open arms.
Andy, looking tired says, “Hi. Angel,right?” And Angel shakes his outstretched hand. And then they sit together in the waiting area.
All of this I saw because Eric approached me last.
Eric, removing his sunglasses, smiles at me. “Hi there Meggie dear…” and gives me a tight hug. WHAT?! Meggie dear?! I thought I’d hyperventilate at that moment. But I breathed. And hugged him back. Shet. PUCHA, Si Eric tinawag akong dear. Goodness, nabibingi na ba ako?
I must say that seeing him for the second time and with a closer look, he looks the same as I first saw him last year in concert. Wearing just plain shirt and shorts, he looks incredibly gorgeous. As we make our way to the chairs, I pinch myself. This is too surreal to be true. Eric is walking beside me. With his arms around my shoulder. That’s a first in my entire life. And it is ERIC. OUCH!! Eric looks at me, “Gwenchana?” “Yeah. Sorry about that.” I replied.
After a while, we walked to the domestic airport to wait for the flight to Boracay. Imagine this, 6 gorgeous men with a lady beside each man.
Yeah right?!
Yeah right. The staff were looking at us. Because 1) Our flight is at 5:30am and we are too early for our flight. 2) Gab and I were unnoticeable compared to our towering partners. 3) The 6 men we’re with are just plain HOT. Enough said.
At the waiting area…
Hyesung and Rhanie are singing songs already. This is free concert! LOL. Dongwan and Nerie are still having a chat. Surprisingly, everyone speaks better English now. At least that’s what I hear from everyone’s conversation. Minwoo’s talking while Kate just carefully listens. While Gab and Junjin seems to hit it off right away because they were laughing at each other. Angel and Andy are pretty quiet. But I see Angel gazing at Andy’s face. (Haha, I see you Angel.)
Well, Eric and I talked about our family. (His family and my family, and not our family together. I wish. LOL~~~) I love it when he talks about his family; I’ve seen a video of it. But you know what’s better? It’s the warmth that you feel when he’s talking about it right beside you. It seems he misses his family because of his work. I told him I feel the same way especially when I started working almost a year ago.
“I know I still live in the same house. But some things have changed. I talk to my sister only on weekends because I am usually tired from work on weekdays so I sleep early. I miss talking to her everyday.”
Eric looked at me and said, “Won’t you miss her while you’re on this trip?”
“Hmm… yeah. But it’s okay. I know, I’ll enjoy this vacation anyway. What about you? Why spend your vacation with us instead of visiting your family in the US?”
“I need some fresh air, a new environment, even for just a week. And I need some time to think.”
“Oh, okay.”
“Can I lie on your lap for a while, Meg? I just want to take a quick nap.”
Gago. Makakatanggi ba ako?! Engot nito. “Okay. Go ahead.”
5, 10, 25 minutes has passed. My legs hurt already.
Text message to Angel: PUCHA. Manhid na legs ko. Katakot gumalaw. Bka magcng si Eric.
Reply from Angel: Diyos ko. Pareho pala tayo, tulog dn tong ksama k. Ok lang yan. Ipabubuhat kita mamaya! LOL~~
After 3 hours, I feel someone waking me up. It's Eric. I was so shocked because his face is too close to mine.
(I fell asleep in that position. Another first in my entire life. I have never slept in that position ever. An upright position. xD)
Wait… I almost hit Eric’s smiling face. (Shet nakangiti na naman siya. Nakakabuhay ng dugo!!!)
“I woke up an hour ago. And I saw you sleeping in an upright position. So I changed our positions. You were in a deep sleep. You didn’t even wake up when I placed your head on my lap.” Eric said, grinning.
I smiled back at him and replied, “Oh, really? Sorry about that. I think I was just too sleepy.”
“That’s okay. Come on, the plane’s here already.”
He took my hand as we followed the rest to the plane.
